As of January 2005, Jiffy Steamer is manufacturing all of our Model J-4000 series using a 16 gauge 304 stainless steel lid to compliment our stainless steel boiler tank. This is a tremendous improvement over the previous lid that was manufactured with aluminum. The stainless lid will create a heavy duty boiler tank that should last the lifetime of your steamer. Furthermore, we have added a solid brass 45 degree steam outlet fitting. There will be no price increases associated with this upgrade.
